Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) chose the West Visayas State University Library to be one of its network members in Western Visayas.
BSP’s Knowledge Resource Sharing Program is a step to establish partnerships with government agencies and private academic libraries for wider dissemination of their information materials.
This program aims to (1) establish a facility for information and knowledge sharing, which is one of the key elements supporting the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion (NSFI); and to (2) make BSP’s information materials easily available to a wide and diverse audience in the municipalities and provinces to support the economic and financial learning objective of the BSP and support greater transparency in BSP Operations.
The materials shared are highly informative to general public, and to the College of Business and Management students taking banking, finance and business law subjects.
