Librarians have the opportunity to participate in training sessions, seminars, and conferences at local, national, and international venues. The University of the Philippines School of Library and Information Studies (UP SLIS), in collaboration with Library-Bayanihan, Inc. and West Visayas State University (WVSU), hosted a workshop titled “Have a Byte: A Taster Workshop on Digital Preservation” from August 16 to 18, 2023. This three-day training was designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and insights on records management and digital preservation practices.
The “Have a Byte: A Taster Workshop on Digital Preservation” was conducted by UP SLIS and Library-Bayanihan, Inc. at the University Learning Resource Center of West Visayas State University from August 16 to 18, 2023.
